FORT COLLINS — The Mountain West is in its 17th season as a conference. But no basketball team — men's or women's — has ever had a run quite like the one Colorado State is on.
The 22nd-ranked Rams clinched their third straight outright regular season championship Tuesday, a first in conference history, with a 68-55 win over visiting Fresno State at Moby Arena.
The Utah women ('03-05) and the BYU ('07-09) men also won three in a row, but both teams shared at least one of those titles.
