SEATTLE — The good times just didn't continue for Colorado State.
The Rams' women's basketball team jumped out on No. 17 Washington in the second round of the Preseason WNIT, hitting a pair of 3-pointers to start the game. But the Huskies answered with 11 straight points, and they never cooled off on the way to the semifinal round with a 101-68 victory.
It marked just the first time in coach Ryun Williams' tenure one of his teams has allowed 100 points, giving it up to a team that reached the Final Four a year ago.
"That's as good an offensive performance that I've witnessed sitting on the bench of an opposing team," Williams said, his team 1-1 on the season.
