Colorado State women roll past Boise State

BOISE, Idaho — Even challenges on the road aren't a problem.

Colorado State's women's basketball team took down Boise State — a team that had won eight straight — with a blazing start and complete effort Wednesday night, pushing the Rams' win streak to 17 games with an 83-51 Mountain West victory at Taco Bell Arena.

The Broncos (16-7, 9-3), third in the conference, scored the first three of the game, but CSU (21-1, 11-0) answered with a 14-0 run to create cushion, eventually pushing the margin to 32-11 midway through the second quarter.

"We challenged the kids to really attack from the get-go, and really attack in the first quarter and they listened," said CSU coach Ryun Williams on the radio postgame.
