FORT COLLINS — Death, taxes and the Colorado State women's basketball team playing great defense under coach Ryun Williams.
The Rams are still trying to find their way offensively this season, but on the other end of the floor, they remain rock-solid. CSU held visiting BYU to just 38 percent shooting, including a 2-of-14 performance from the 3-point line, to key a 56-54 victory on Saturday at Moby Arena.
The Rams (5-2) have now won five of their past six and have held the opposition under 40 percent in each of those victories.
"Defense wins games, and that's where it starts," CSU junior forward Annie Brady said.
