FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State women's basketball team has been thoroughly impressive throughout the non-conference season.
The Rams have posted wins over BYU, Colorado and Northern Colorado, all teams that beat them last year.
But perhaps CSU's most complete performance to date came Thursday night in a 75-43 dismantling of visiting Montana.
Against a Lady Griz team picked to repeat as Big Sky Conference champions, the Rams never trailed, posting their fifth wire-to-wire victory of the season. Coach Ryun Williams' team ran its win streak to five while improving to 8-1, extending the program's best start since 2001-02, a team that started 10-1.
