PHILADELPHIA — Most of the numbers were right, except the key ones on the offensive end.
Colorado State's women's basketball team started a three-game road stretch Tuesday night at Penn and couldn't find its shooting touch in a 49-48 loss to the Quakers (4-1). The Rams (3-1) hit just 19 of 70 shots in the game (27.1 percent) and were even more off from the 3-point arc (7-of-31, 22.6 percent).
"We played hard. It wasn't that end of the floor that was the problem," CSU coach Ryun Williams said of the Rams' defense. "We played with great intensity, for the most part, really good execution defensively, and I thought we battled pretty well on the glass.
