LAS VEGAS — For the second year in a row, the Colorado State women's basketball team ended its Mountain West tournament with a loss to Boise State in the semifinals.
Last year, Riley Lupfer sparked an upset over the top-seeded Rams.
This year, starting back-court mate Braydey Hodgins was a thorn in CSU's side, scoring a career-high 25 points to lead the top-seeded Broncos to a 76-51 win over the fifth-seeded Rams on Wednesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Hodgins scored all but two of her points in the first three quarters on 8-of-11 shooting to help advance Boise State (22-9) to the title game for the second consecutive season.
