Colorado State volleyball swept at home by Wichita State

FORT COLLINS — Cassidy Denny hasn't seen many losses in her career.

In fact, the senior libero at Colorado State had only suffered nine setbacks total heading into her final season.

But this year is different, and as the lone senior on the team — the player they call mom — is all-in on her role of being the calming influence as the Rams dropped their third straight, getting swept at home by Wichita State, 26-24, 25-15, 25-17.

And No. 3 Texas is in town Friday night.

"I think my job right now going into the rest of this weekend and the rest of our season is just being that cool, level-headed senior," Denny said.
