BOULDER — With a showdown against rival Colorado looming later in the day, the Colorado State volleyball team made quick work of Chicago State on Saturday during the Omni Invitational, sweeping the neutral-court matchup, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15 at the Coors Events Center.
It was the second straight convincing win for the Rams (6-4) following a recent four-game losing streak.
CSU totaled 45 kills in the match, led by Sanja Cizmic with 11, compared to just 12 errors. The Rams hit .363 as a team and limited Chicago State to a .023 clip, thanks to 25 CSU block assists.
