FORT COLLINS — A week ago, Colorado State was the last unbeaten team in the Mountain West volleyball standings. Three matches later, the Rams are in a dogfight.
After dropping a four-setter on the road to Wyoming on Tuesday, there is now a three-way tie atop the standings with eight matches remaining in the regular season. The good news for the Rams (8-2 in MW play) is the seven-time defending MW champs control their own destiny. The same can be said for the other two squads in the mix — Boise State and UNLV — and even Wyoming, which sits a game back at 7-3.
