Colorado State volleyball player Adrianna Culbert named top female college athlete by CSHOF

DENVER — Colorado State senior volleyball player Adrianna Culbert was voted as the top college female athlete by the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

The senior from Delton, Mich., will be recognized at the organization's 52nd annual induction and awards banquet on April 19 at the Denver Marriott City Center along with five others for yearly awards and the six inductees voted upon in October.

Culbert guided the Rams to a 26-4 record, earning Mountain West player of the year honors, as well as being named a third-team All-American. Her all-around play was highlighted this season as she notched an astounding eight triple-doubles, including just the second quadruple-double at the NCAA Division I level since rally scoring began in 2008.
