Get out early or get left behind is how the world of collegiate volleyball recruiting works now. Colorado State looks to be staying ahead of the curve, picking up three verbal commitments for the 2018 class in the past month.
Kari Zumach, Kava Durr and Cierra Zimmerman all came away impressed with the program after making visits to campus, giving coach Tom Hilbert the potential of two pin players and a future setter.
Zumach is from Minnesota, playing for the Minnesota Select club team. Comfortable on both pins in the front row, the 6-foot-2 outside hitter comes from a volleyball family, with her mother a coach and a sister playing for Kansas State.
