Through that time, his No. 13 Rams were sweeping through Mountain West play, entering Thursday's home date with San Jose State at Moby Arena (7 p.m.) with a 14-0 league mark, 21-3 overall. All the while, the rest of the conference was beating each other up, settling really into three tiers.
