FORT COLLINS — When a coach gets used to something being done at a high level, it's hard to give up the comfort level of expectation.
For four straight seasons, Colorado State volleyball coach Tom Hilbert had Jamie Colaizzi and Adrianna Culbert as two of the Rams' primary ball handlers on the court, and they only became better and better through time. Setter Deedra Foss was part of the mix in the early years, with Cassidy Denny along for three of them, Alex Reid joining the group last year.
They combined to make the Rams an excellent defensive team in the back row, as well as a squad that was pretty pinpoint in their passing, helping the offense run more efficiently.
