FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State volleyball team lost for the second time at Moby Arena this season on Monday night. Only this time, it won't count against the Rams' record as their 25-22, 25-12, 25-17 loss to visiting Shanghai Eastbest & Langsheng was only an exhibition.
The Rams, who hit just .121 as a team (including -.061 in the second set), were led in kills by Alex Reid with 11. Adrianna Culbert and Crystal Young had 14 assists each while Jaime Colaizzi had 21 digs.
Jie Yang had a match-best 13 kills and Yichan Zhang 10 for the visitors, a powerhouse squad from the Chinese Volleyball League that won five titles from 1996-2001.
