Colorado State volleyball celebrates its 7th straight conference title

FORT COLLINS — The shirts were printed, the caps were made and the trophy was on hand.

The Colorado State volleyball team had already clinched its seventh straight Mountain West championship.

The only thing left to do was celebrate it. But first, CSU had to take care of visiting Fresno State in its conference home finale.

Not a problem. Much like they have every other league foe the past couple seasons, the Rams swept the Bulldogs (25-19, 25-22, 25-14) to ensure a proper crowning Saturday at Moby Arena.

Afterward, the shirts and hats were handed out and proudly worn as the confetti rained down with the Rams raising the MW trophy for the seventh straight year.
