FORT COLLINS — The back row of Colorado State's volleyball program became a little more crowded on Monday with the addition of transfer McKenna Thornlow, coach Tom Hilbert announced.
Thornlow, a Colorado native who played as a prep at Rampart, spent the past two seasons playing for North Texas. The 5-foot-9 defensive specialist started eight matches as a freshman, playing 199 sets overall in her two years with the Mean Green.
"I remember watching her in high school and she was recruited by North Texas as a scholarship libero," Hilbert said in a release. "She understands the game and she's pretty good, and I think she will help us because of her maturity and the fact that she's been in Division I games before.
