FORT COLLINS — Two weeks in a row, two turnovers. One a fumble, one an interception.
As bad as they were in a 31-24 loss to Minnesota on the road the week before, they were even worse in a 38-17 thumping at the hands of Wyoming at Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium on Saturday night.
The Gophers converted the turnovers into 10 points. The Cowboys scored 14 points off of them, with defensive lineman Chase Appleby doing the work himself, grabbing an errant Collin Hill pass and going 55 yards for a touchdown.
