FORT COLLINS — Colorado State senior safety Justin Sweet was arrested early Wednesday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence by the Larimer County Sheriff's Department.
Sweet, 21, was pulled over at the corner at College and Laurel by a deputy and was also cited for speeding. The sheriff's department said a full report has yet to be filed.
A junior out of Las Vegas, Sweet entered spring camp atop the depth chart at strong safety. In a reserve role, he played in five games as a sophomore, recording six tackles, one for a loss. He has appeared in 14 games overall with 16 tackles.
