Instead, Colorado State's defense looked exactly every bit the same unit that struggled in the first week of the season.
The only difference was CSU head coach Mike Bobo was on the field to watch it all come undone. He was happy to be there, but the view wasn't any better as a 45-13 loss to Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Showdown pushed the Rams to 0-2 on the season.
"It's disappointing. You got your ass kicked," Bobo said.
