FORT COLLINS — Coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance, the Colorado State women's basketball program announced an ambition non-conference schedule for the upcoming season on Monday.
The Rams, who were 31-2 a season ago, start with their third appearance in the Preseason WNIT, having won the tournament title in 1998 and participating in 2002. The slate guarantees the Rams will play at least two Power 5 teams in the early going and as many as four, depending on how deep they go in the WNIT. It could also lead to games against up to three NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago.
