FORT COLLINS — For the second day in a row, Colorado State practiced at Hughes Stadium Wednesday, eschewing the on-campus practice fields adjacent to Moby Arena.
Mike Bobo Tuesday had said the better lighting at the stadium was an issue, but that the major issue was that the grass part of the four-field was extraordinarily slippery, raising injury concerns.
On Wednesday, I asked Bobo if the move to Hughes again meant he was dissatisfied with the program’s practice fields, which also include the indoor practice facility.
“No, for some reason it’s a little bit slick and we’re checking into it and working on some things,” Bobo said.
