Colorado State puts Marty English back in defensive coordinator's role

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's new defensive coordinator needs no introduction, as linebackers coach Marty English has been elevated back into the role for the Rams once again by head coach Mike Bobo, only without the "co-" in front of the title.

English will be entering his 30th season in coaching, his fifth with CSU. In the first three seasons, he served as the linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator with Al Simmons during Jim McElwain's tenure. Bobo retained him for his staff to coach linebackers. English replaces Tyson Summers, as he did for the Arizona Bowl.
