2015 hasn’t been the year Colorado State football fans expected. With star receiver Rashard Higgins returning along with a senior-laden defense, there were lots of fans hoping to see CSU duplicate its 2014 success and challenge for the Mountain West title. It hasn’t panned out that way so far, with the Rams coming into Saturday’s home finale at 4-5 overall, needing at least two wins to be bowl-eligible for the third year in a row. Fortunately for CSU, their final three games are all against teams they will likely be favored to beat. Despite CSU’s losing record heading into the weekend, the Rams are projected to go bowling by nearly every national sports site, including ESPN, CBS Sports and USA Today.
