Bobo reaches for the checkbook
When season ticket sales for Colorado State football hit 8,632 the week before the season opener, head coach Mike Bobo said he'd donate $5 for each additional sale to the Rams Club. Tuesday, he was asked to pull out his checkbook.
Sales jumped to 9,058, costing Bobo $2,130.
"Is that what it is? They did tell me," Bobo said after Tuesday's practice. "I'm excited to do it and happy to do it. I thought it was a really good crowd for the first game."
Bobo said he didn't really have a chance to take a look at the crowd prior to kickoff, and the first glance he really got was after the game when many of the patrons left the blowout early.
