Colorado State offense prepared for San Diego State's deceptive defense

FORT COLLINS — Offenses have been doing it for years. So have Rocky Long's defenses.

Window dressing. Lots and lots of it. But instead of using motions and multiple formations as offensive coordinators have been employing for years, Long's San Diego State defense will give linebackers, linemen and defensive backs tasks to do that normally aren't associated with the job description.

Offenses see one thing; the Aztecs are doing something different.

Their defenders take pride in messing with the thought process, one of the main reasons linebacker Calvin Munson wanted to play for Long.
