FORT COLLINS — One mystery for Colorado State men's basketball team came just a bit closer to being solved as the Rams rolled to an 80-58 victory over Alcorn State at Moby Arena on Sunday.
Answers have been hard to find for the Rams as to how to make up for the absence of fifth-year senior guard Gian Clavell, who was by far the best candidate to be the leader and top-scoring option for CSU's backcourt before being suspended indefinitely.
Until Sunday, that is, when redshirt sophomore guard JD Paige stepped up to score a career-high 23 points to go with six assists.
