FORT COLLINS — Colorado State men's basketball coach Larry Eustachy says every year he gets questions about his non-conference schedule. So you can imagine the number of inquiries he had after his Rams were left out of the NCAA Tournament last season despite an RPI in the top 30.
With that in mind, Eustachy wanted to discuss his team's 2015-16 non-league slate after releasing it Wednesday.
"This year, and in this era, there's some real uncertainty as to what is the best way to build your schedule," Eustachy said. "My philosophy has always been you want to build it to get into the NCAA Tournament, but you also want to have to build it around your team.
