FORT COLLINS — Boy, did the Rams need this one.
Having lost three straight and five of seven, Colorado State bounced back following its most lopsided loss of the season — an 18-point blowout at home to Wyoming on Saturday — with an 86-69 win over visiting New Mexico on Tuesday at Moby Arena.
CSU moved to 7-8 in Mountain West play and 15-13 overall. UNM dropped its second straight after losing at Air Force on Saturday to fall to 17-11 and 9-6 in league play.
Ball movement helped the Rams snap out of their recent funk.
