FORT COLLINS — By the time Mike Bobo was hired as the head football coach at Colorado State in December of 2014, the road blocks were up on recruiting season.
It gave him time to hire a staff, and once the coaches were in place, there were only two weeks to go out and fill the gaps on what was already a pretty complete class committed to the Rams. As Bobo put it, there were a lot of cold calls and just holding on to what they had, save for a few holes to fill.
