College basketball season ended somewhat unceremoniously this season for Colorado State Rams men’s basketball, losing in the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament and then declining invites to the CBI and the Vegas 16 tourneys.
So, with Antwan Scott, Tiel Daniels, Fred Richardson III and winningest CSU baller in history Joe DeCiman all leaving the program due to being seniors, the team has three scholarships to fill. Assuming, of course, Gian Clavell is granted his medical redshirt for a fifth season due to injuring his hand and shoulder 10 games into the 2015-16 season.
Back in November, the Rams picked up junior college guard transfer Devocio Butler, who will be able to compete immediately in the 2016-17 season.
