When it comes to the Big 12 possibly expanding, that seems to be the norm, and it continued on Wednesday.
A TMGcollegesports.com report had listed BYU, Connecticut and a group of AAC schools as those still being considered candidates by the 10-team conference, with East Carolina University following up with word from school officials Wednesday it had been informed by the Big 12 it was no longer a candidate.
A Colorado State official, when asked if the university had received word if it was still a candidate or not, responded: "We are not in a position to comment.
