Colorado State players DeAndre Elliott and Rashard Higgins have received invitations to participate at the NFL Combine, to be held Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis. Their invites make 10 CSU players to be asked to participate in the past three seasons.
Elliott, a cornerback, started 11 games this season for the Rams, finishing with 32 tackles and tying for the team lead with two interceptions. The 6-foot, 190-pounder finished with seven interceptions after starting 34 games in his career, totalling 124 tackles overall.
Higgins, a 6-2, 190-pound wide receiver who declared early for the NFL Draft after a record-setting career at CSU, is coming off an all-Mountain West season, catching 75 passes for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games played.
