FORT COLLINS — Earnest Wilson and Mike Bobo had one thing in common when first taking over their football programs, and that was they were each the fourth coach for the fifth-year seniors they inherited.
And that's only if you count Dave Baldwin's interim stint for Colorado State's bowl game.
Whereas Bobo took over a Colorado State program on the rise, Wilson was hired to coach a Savannah State team in a constant state of flux, one that will bring a 21-game losing streak into Saturday's season opener at Hughes Stadium (2 p.m.).
When it comes to changing coaches, nobody in the country may have more practice at it than Savannah State.
