FORT COLLINS — There was no trepidation in Mike Bobo's answer. He was positive about the starter.
Quarterback? Don't be silly. That, to some degree, is still being tested and will remain a secret until Colorado State lines up against Colorado for the season opener Sept. 2 in Denver.
Who will protect him is pretty much decided.
"If we played today, that would be our five: (Nick) Callender at left tackle, Thurston at left guard, (Jake) Bennett at center, (Fred) Zerblis at right guard, (Zack) Golditch at left tackle," Bobo said after Monday's practice.
