Colorado State football sticks with run game in win over Utah State

FORT COLLINS — Starting hasn't been an issue the past two weeks for Colorado State's offense. No, the problem has been continued success.

After scoring the first two drives of Saturday's 31-24 win over Utah State, the Rams went stagnant with the ball for the final five drives of the first half.

It's perplexing, to say the least.

"I'm not sure. (Offensive coordinator) Coach (Will) Friend always talks about winning the first 5 of the half and winning the last 5 of the half," CSU wideout Bisi Johnson said. "We need to keep working on winning the last 5, but we're definitely good on our start.
