Colorado State football signs future home and home with Texas Tech

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State announced a home-and-home football arrangement with Texas Tech on Wednesday, though the first game won't be played until the 2025 season.

It is the second home-and-home football deal CSU athletic director Joe Parker has inked this year with a Power 5 school, joining the contract the team has with Oregon State. The arrangement with the Red Raiders starts with a game in Fort Collins on Sept. 6, 2025. The Rams visit Lubbock the following season on Sept. 12. The teams have played twice previously, with Texas Tech winning both at home in 1968 and 1987.
