FORT COLLINS — In the final five games of the 2015 season, Colorado State's offense started showing signs of becoming the power run team head coach Mike Bobo wanted.
In each of those contests, the Rams ran for better than 220 yards, once surpassing 300. They were hoping that would be a continued trend in 2016, but as of yet, the Rams are not on a roll running the ball.
They have hit the 220 mark twice, in wins over UTSA and FCS Northern Colorado, but in all three losses, they have been limited to 162 or less, sinking to a new low of 111 in Saturday's 38-17 drubbing at the hands of rival Wyoming.
