Colorado State football received its first verbal commitment for the 2017 recruiting class, with Florida linebacker Connor Kaminski pledging his intentions to play for the Rams.
The 6-foot-1, 215 pounder was hoping to eliminate the clutter of recruiting from his senior year, and with Colorado State consistently stating their interest.
"Colorado State and coach (Mike) Bobo and all of them have been showing me the most love and they've stayed in contact, building a good relationship with them. None of the other schools have really done the same. I really felt that. I've been doing my research.
