Colorado State football picks up verbal from New Orleans quarterback

Colorado State picked up another verbal commitment, the same day the team arrived in Boise, Idaho for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Justice McCoy, from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans made his pledge Sunday on his Twitter account.

McCoy is a three-star, dual-threat quarterback who is ranked No. 54 at his position overall by Scout.com. He completed 58.7 percent of his passes his senior season, throwing for 1,543 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 634 rushing yards with 15 scoring runs.

If he signs in February, he will give the program its freshman quarterback for the upcoming class.
