FORT COLLINS — While the bye week naturally comes with plenty of positives — a bit of rest, a chance to heal, a chance to regroup mentally and physically — none of those benefits could outweigh what Colorado State's football team grabbed heading into the break.
In beating Air Force, the Rams gained confidence stemming from a win, as well as the idea of what a really good week of practice could produce on game day. Coach Mike Bobo and his staff felt it was the best week of preparation the team has had this season, especially when it came to paying attention to the finer details that allowed them to play the disciplined game required to beat the Falcons.
