FORT COLLINS — With his team continuing to have issues with footing on the practice fields, Colorado State football coach Mike Bobo decided to move regular Tuesday and Wednesday practices to Hughes Stadium.
As the season moves deeper in the fall and the grass fields take on more use, the Rams have found the past two seasons they've had issues with sliding on the fields, and the one turf section is aging and does not offer enough space.
"No question because of the footing," Bobo said. "Mondays are a little bit lighter, but we do wear shells, and there was a lot of slipping around.
