FORT COLLINS — In short, they need to be better.
For Colorado State coach Mike Bobo, that's the only expectation for Saturday's scrimmage, the last of fall camp and two weeks out from the season opener with Hawaii on Aug. 25.
"I told them after the first scrimmage there should be a tremendous amount of improvement positionally and each segment, because we're further along," he said after Friday's practice. "We should have an understanding of what we're doing schematically better where we can play faster."
Earlier in the week, he reiterated quarterback Collin Hill is well ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation of his left ACL, but not to the point where he will be leading any drives in the evening session at Canvas Stadium.
