FORT COLLINS — There is reason for optimism.
In his first year as Colorado State's football coach, Mike Bobo was appalled by the number of times the Rams offense turned over the ball — 27 in all, averaging more than two a game.
Of those, 18 came in the first seven contests of the season in 2015. At the same point this year, the Rams are down to nine, and a third came in the opener.
In his view, it has definitely been a mindset for the unit, but also a sign they are completing tasks better.
