Colorado State football has to replace its entire defensive line

FORT COLLINS — Ricky Logo has a blank canvas to work with this spring.

Colorado State lost five defensive linemen from a season ago who each played in at least 11 of 13 games, a trio who appeared in every contest. Those who backed them up didn't see a lot of reps, either, leaving the Rams' defensive line coach looking at a spring of teaching and building.

"You see a bunch of guys learning new things, coming back to basic fundamentals, polishing up on technique," Logo said. "What I really told the guys is what we lack in depth and experience we've got to make up in our technique and footwork, which is something they continue to keep working on day after day.
