FORT COLLINS — There is no time to pout, and nobody can get defensive.
Well, Colorado State would like to be a lot more defensive when it takes the field Friday night in the Rocky Mountain Showdown with Colorado (7 p.m.; CBSSN), at Broncos Stadium in Denver.
But they have a showdown of their own to face — internally — as the Rams have fixes to make and a short time to do so after a 43-34 loss to Hawaii to open the season.
If it is true a team shows the most improvement from Week One to Week Two, the Rams will take it.
