FORT COLLINS — Unhappy with the defensive performance through three weeks of spring camp, and recognizing a shortage at cornerback, Colorado State added a couple of new players to the mix, as well as experimenting elsewhere in the unit.
Wide receiver Anthony Hawkins began his training at corner in Tuesday's session, and senior safety Justin Sweet was also playing on the outside during practice.
"We have not been as productive as we want to be, really not just at corner, defensively as a whole, and made some changes today as more of an experiment with Anthony Hawkins," Bobo said.
