FORT COLLINS — Colorado State announced a four-game football agreement with Vanderbilt on Thursday, a home-and-home split that will make the Commodores just the second Southeast Conference team to travel to Fort Collins.
Colorado State will travel to Nashville in 2020 and 2025, with Vanderbilt coming to Fort Collins in 2021 and 2026. It will be the first time the two schools have met on the football field. The Rams have upcoming road games with SEC foes Alabama (2017), Florida (2018) and Arkansas (2019). Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker has been ambitious in his scheduling pursuits as Colorado State now has 17 games scheduled against Power 5 schools over the next decade.
