Colorado State football aiming to reduce flags

Trevor L Davis / Loveland Reporter-Herald)

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State is spending the bye week trying to heal all sorts of things.

Players who are hurt, be it something nagging or on the brink of being serious, are spending more time away from the fray on the field, basically limited to individual work. On top of that, practices are a bit shorter.

Off the field, coach Mike Bobo said the trainers, nutritionists and strength and conditioning staff are working with the team on how to maximize their time. It's a chance to maintain strength or even get stronger, but also a time to get the proper rest and put the right fuel into their bodies to help with the recovery process.
