Colorado State finds success in zone

FORT COLLINS — For Colorado State's offense, this season has been akin to driving down a dirt, country road.

Every so often, there's the built-in groove that provides smooth sailing, but mostly, it's a path ridden with potholes ready to throw an alignment out of whack.

However, when the Rams have come close to their destination this season, they've generally found the way into the drive, scoring on 90 percent (OK, 89.9 percent) of their chances in the red zone. In 27 trips, CSU has 24 scores. In a season that hasn't gone according to script, it is an area the Rams can point to where improvement has been made.
